ash has a dream that he is competiting in the pokemon league but is woken up by mr mime vacuming which annoys ash even though he is back in pallet town to find out where the league is. jessie james and meowth find the burned team rocket headquarters that mewtwo destoryed after wanting to quit but decide to stay on and are convinced to keep doing their job. ash and friends arrive at professor oaks lab where they find gary already there and there rivaliry reignites after finding out they are the only two trainers to win all 8 badges. they find out the league is at indigo pleatau in three mounths. team rocket dressed at reporters try and find ash. ash and gary compare their amount of pokemon and their strategies having a long argument that oak won’t break up. team rocket cause trouble in the labatory on their way to find ash. after a tour of the lab ash and gary decide to battle but are interupted by team rocket but ash’s tauros defeat them but destroy the lab’s grounds in the process so ash misty and brock have to fix it.
next time misty and brock go to the seafoam islands without ash.
