an a320 is on its way to habsheim france to do an air show demonstration flight in 1988 when the plane was brand new. the flight plan was changed at the last minute to a grass strip and the procedure called for them to barely be above stall speed but as they do the demonstration they spot trees which despite powering up they crash into killing 3 passengers out of 130 which is not usual to have people on board on demonstration. the cause is disputed between pilot error and aircraft problems with questions of the investigation being rigged against the captain so the cause is disputed.
