ash and friends are getting tired on their journey to azaela town. they have an argument over if using charizard is fair when they run into a woman named liza with her charizard who trains them. ash has to learn how to fly on charizard which he hasn’t yet. ash struggles to get charizard there and he challenges a wild one to a match but loses badly. so ash works on charizards strength to get into the valley but doesn’t work in convincing it and eventually it works in getting it in.
