ash and friends are in a forrest when they hear a guy looking for a cynadquil which leads to ash going hunting for it as well. team rocket also are in the area trying to steal pokemon. when team rocket attack the cyndaquil appears which ash accidently catches to keep it save from team rocket before the other guy gets it so they battle over it with sandslash v cyndaquil but cynadaquil won’t turn its flame on which makes it hard to battle ash wins the battle though.
