ash and friends continue their journey when ash wakes up and spots a rhydon swimming which supprises everyone as they don’t belive it as its a rock/ground type. but a woman reveals it is real that it knows surf which is unusal and wants to catch it to build a tunnel. team rocket are also after the rhydon after finding fruit. the pokemon are beaten by rhydon even the water types with horn drill. the girl convinces rhydon to help her after a failed team rocket attack and the tunnel is made.
