ash and friends find out professor oak and dj mary are doing a live radio show in a nearby town team rocket beat oak and mary there and steal the towns food and give phony answers to the viewers questions. when the real oak and mary turn up they decide to have a contest with ash and friends watching despite james (as professor oak) wins a round he still loses to the real oak.
