in the mountains a scientist finds a wierd thing from space at the time his son tori becomes scared of pokemon he encounters a deoxys which battles rayquazza. a while later ash and friends arrive in a town known for its battle facilites and its technology. ash wants to battle at the battle tower which is reached by moving walkways. somehow by accident ash gets to battle in the tornoument with tori against two other trainers. ash has to lend tori a pokemon and its a odd battle. toris dad reveals himself and they tell ash and friedns what happened. we also see the first sinnoh pokemon in the series munchlax. but the deoxys creates problems in town locking it down forcing ash and friends and tori to work together to fix it. which they are able to fix everything and they than ash and friends leave the town.
song “this side of paradise’ credits song used in a scene nearly half way through as well.
score 8/10 a good one but not the best.
