16 players arrive in the amazon by a river boat and are split by gender.
tamaqui – matthew, rob, butch, alex, dave, rodger, daniel and ryan
jabauru – jenna, heidi, christy (who is death), denna, shawna, jeanne, joanna and janet.
the tribes are supprised to be split by genders. shawna can’t untie the boat. jenna is not happy with the twist. dave sort of takes the leadership on the guys. christy tells her tribe she is death. the men do better than the woman with shelter. rob keeps the tribe entertained with the magic 8 balll. the woman struggle with fire. denna is bossy as is rodger. janets not well and struggling. the men talk about how the woman look a lot. the first challenge involves a puzzle and a ballance beam. the men start well but daniel and ryan fail the ballance beam costing the men the win as the woman (jabauru) win immunity and fire after a big defecit on the first puzzle. the vote is between rodger and ryan with rob the swing vote and dave voting for daniel. in the end ryan is voted out 4-3-1 over rodger (matthew votes with daniel and ryan against rodger) and daniel.
