ash and friends arrive in sotopolis city for his 8th gym battle. and meets juan the gym leader who is putting on a preformance before the match after team rocket steal the pokemon. ash and juan begin their five on five battle with the first round being double battle. sealeo and seaking v pikachu and snowrunt snowrunt loses first but than ash uses corphish which helps ash beat sealeo and seaking. as the next match is grovyle v luvdisc which grovyle is in trouble despite the advantage.
