ash runs into a trainer named paul who he can’t battle without pikachu due to him wanitng a 3 on 3 match. ash finally meets dawn and saves pikachu from team rocket who have a new motto. after seeing professor rowan and dawn is introduced by phone to professor oak before paul arrives to battle. pauls starly beats ash’s (But paul still relases his) but his chimchar loses to aipom. pikachu v elekid decides it and its a draw.
