the reward challenge starts the ep at tribal for the shaolin temple is the reward phih gee wins and picks erik and denise to go on reward. those back at camp has james want to comit to the final 4 but amanda doesn’t want to keep james around and tells courtney about the plan. erik wins the throwing star immunity. phih gee wants to vote todd out while james is now the majorities target james wants to vote phih gee. at tribal james doesn’t play an idol (he had two) and is blindsided 5-1-1 (eriki votse with fei long) becoming not only the first player to be voted out with an idol in their pocket (there have been several since) but the first to be voted out with two in his pocket (only one other player has had that happen to them 24 seasons later it ahppens in much worse circumstances).
