18 players arrive in gabon not split into tribes yet and in street clothes.
after introducing the players to each other. the oldest bob and gillian get to pick the tribes.
kota – bob, ace, sugar, marcus, charlie, paloma (he gets the wrong letter), kelly, jacqui, corrine.
fang – gillian, cyrstal (an olympic athelete), susie (because mums need to hang together her words not mine), matty, randy, dan, gc, ken, michelle.
the first challenge is a race for individual immunity and extra rice gc and marcus winning the immnuity and kota win the rice. randy is badly hurt early on the first night. bob leads setting up kotas camp. gillian is over the top excited over elephant dung. ken and michelle allign while ace is ont he nerves of kota especially paloma. marcus and charlie align quickly and add jacqui and corrine as a 4 person alliance. ace leads the tribe in meditation in a way that annoys paloma. kota win the challenge easily an obstacle course and puzzle winning immunity and flint. the vote is between michelle (who doesn’t fit in) and gillian due to age and weakness. fang select gc as a leader which is the least capable because of his age michelle makes things worse with some comments and is voted out 8-1 over gillian. gcs leadership starts ok but than gets worse and eventually quits. bob is added to marcuses alliance. the physical immunity challenge is won by kota winning fishing gear and immunity (who sit out paloma). dan is sent to exile and looks for but can’t find the idol. the vote is between gillian and ken with gillian the clear target despite worries about dan and the idol it is gillian voted out 7-1 over ken.
