ash and friends are lost on the way to vermilion city and after an argument that is a bit hard on ash in terms of how he got his pokemon. sees ash look for a new pokemon and catches a krabby which he catches but the pokeball disappears so they searchc for a phone to check its ok at professor oaks place. and find bills lighthouse where they find that krabbys ok and are told to get a lesson on pokemon from bill who is a pokemon researcher who is after rare pokemon after hearing that he is after a rare big pokemon which appears but team rocket attack it forcing it away. ash and friends say goodbye to bill continuing their journey.
