ash and friends arrive in safron city after seeing a weird girl who later saves ash and friends from team rocket the girl is part of the gym leader sabrina who pikachu loses to abra (Which evolves into kadabra half way through) ash and friends are turned into dolls but get away to safety thanks to sabrinas dad (not revealed to be yet). ash is told to catch a ghost type in lavender town.
