Rowan Warfe dislocated his left shoulder. Warfe will need a reconstruction at some stage but will initially be treated conservatively and may play again in four to six weeks.

Leo Barry damaged his knee when he crashed into a goalpost in the first quarter and will also miss at least four games after having an arthroscope this week.

Jason Ball, who was a late withdrawal from the match with a sore thigh, and Greg Stafford and Stuart Maxfield, who suffered minor muscle injuries against Essendon, should be available for next Sunday’s MCG match against Melbourne.
