university had their last win over the tigers amazingly the pies were the last team below them when they had a win on the board ever thet pies were the big sliders to 7th being replaced in the fianls by geelong despite a good start the dons finished 3rd behind swans and blues ahead of the cats.
finals summary
poor kicking knoced the cats out of the running losnig to the blues who lost to the dons who would go back to back for the first time and their 4th overall with wins over the blues as well as swans twice.
interesting season geelong
early on few predicted them to be the ones who broke the run of the same 4 losing to the lions in round 3 proof in point but a round 5 win over the dons showed signs but inconsistant loses like to the saints in ronud 11 meant they looked like they were filing the numbers and the loss to the blues in the finals knocked them out

after a 4 game winning streak they hit inconsistency two loss to the saints who weren’t clsoe to the 4 proof in point but a strong finals campaign got them their 4th flag and 2nd in a row.
