after severla years of the same teams dominating out of nowhere the cats and dees were the dominant sides 15 wins each pies and itgers round out the 4 beating blues and saints with swans dropping to 9th with the wooden spoon going to north.

an round 1 win over the roos and a 55-0 lead over the saints made them look good but than lost to the saints by 13 in a record reversal starting a losing streak of five droppoing to last before beating the tigers two more loses before beating the dogs to get off the bottom and a round 12 over the roos kept them off the bottom two more wins got them 8th over lions and swans and dons 7 total

what a slump for the swans taking till round 6 to beat the hawks for their first win had a draw before that round 8 over the roos kept them alive and dogs and saints beofre another slump only winnign one of their last 6 after a round 12 win over blues beating the dons in round 17.
finals summary
pies nearly got a 3 peat beating dees and tigers (who were inconsistant) but the cats beat the dees and pies to win their 3rd flag.

a round 1 loss to the pies wouldn’t mkae them worried but a round 3 loss to dons had them not look as good their round 6 loss to tigers was their last winning 14 striaght to get their 3rd flag.
