location just off the hume highway between jindera and gundgai past wamagoma.
transport it is a stop on the vline bus from melbounre to canberra via albury. no commerical airport or active rail station (it closed in 1975).

shops -newsgaent. second hand shops. book shop. laundramat, a few cafes, petrol stop with a foodiary cafe.
catholic church – the catholic church has mass two saturday nights (530pm) and 2/3 sunday masses each month (8am or 10am) it is the only catholi church in the parish bowna closed this year but the preist is shared with walla walla, henty and calcairn (head of that parish but its not unclear where he is based). it also has an interesting name our lady of sorrows.
other churches – anglican
