transport – there is 5 trains per day going to melbourne with 3 going to albury and 2 to sydney (via albury) there is an airport that last had commerical services when ansett existed but still handles small aircraft there are a lot of buses as well.

catholic church – there is two in wangaratta which are atleast till recently seperate parishes there is st patricks (main wangaratta) with 3 mases on sunday 8am 10am and 530pm as well as saturday night 6pm and during the week as well the parish includes eldorado and boorhoman (both saturday night mases) it is also near probably the best wang park. the 2nd is wangaratta south our lady mother of god which has a 9am sunday mass and a 4pm saturday mass the parish includes glenrowan. the priests is also in charge of beechworth parish (including yackendandah) and moyhu parish (including whitfield) as well as the two wang parishes i think there are 3.
