twins darah and damian where on holidays in alola for the first time to study the legendry pokemon when a mysterious man and woman appear to take them on a tour seperately to the altar of the moon and lake of the sun. darah is taken to the lake of the moon and is told to wait till sunset. damian goes to the lake of the sun where an eclpise starts immediately and he feels weird within a few minutes he is no longer human he is a solgalelo the legendry pokemon of the sun his memories get confused but knows he needs to track down lunala the pokemon of the moon. 10 minutes later as the sun starts to set darah suddenly has the same thing happen only instead of solagelo she becomes a lunala the two reunite still unsure until the tapus appear and explain that they are the next generation alola legendries and they regain there memories of each other but not much else.
