location – riverina between wagga wagga and narrandra southwest of sydndy northeast of melbourne its in new south wales.

transport – there used to be a passenger train but no longer runs the line is still used rarely for charters due to a former famous resident of the region tim fischer but thats very rare and there are grain trains still serving the town there is a small airstrip as well but no flights.

population – 818

elcetorate – riverina but the region was the home of the former member for farrer tim fischer in nearby boree creek.

attractions – spirit of the land festival (every october), picnic races, museum.

accomdation – small hotels

shops – roadhouse, supermarkets, old things shops. and a few cafes.

catholic church – mass laternating with urana either saturday night (odd weeks) and sunday morning (Even weeks) with urana getting the opposite.

other religions – there used to be a presberteryan church i think. anglican

parkrun – n/a don’t know the closest one.

next time – a small one on deaderang

i will note that with my trip to the gold coast which started yesterday that is not the kind of place i am trying to cover with this segment at this point its more small to mediumm size places not a top 10 biggest city in australia.
