this gospel story is taken from the end of the passion story of when jesus is on the cross and is being verbally attacked and how one of the others on the cross saw jesus and asked for jesus to remeber him when he comes into his kingdom its also where the enscription that describes jesus kings of the jews is from. this story is about how jesus forgave sins even on his last day and how if you eventually believe and obey the lord you too will be forgiven.
