location – north east victoria near chiltern yackdendandah and stanley south west of wodonga and sydney north east of melbourne.
transport – no rail service since the 1970s and no airport either.

attractions – the old jail, the gallery, a lot of walking areas and parks. also lots of nearby wineries and orchids. there is also something called a church walk which i found doing my research for this.
accomdation – quite a few hotels and bandbs.
shops – book shops, there is a market once per month, lolly shops, craft shops, food shops.
catholic church – sunday mass is 9am weekly they don’t have their own preist anymore despite being head of a parish while its administered by wangaratta a visiting preist usually provides the masses for here and yackendndah (which is in the same parish) i think there is also a wenesday weekday mass as well.
other religions – anglican, uniting.
