the cynadaquil asks where ash is from he says pallet town which confuses the pokemon as its not a place pokemon are from around here. ash looks at his body and realises he is a pikachu and a weird memory came back but it confuses him the cynadaquil takes ash to the leader of their group a chikorita who recognises ash from somewhere but not sure where.
