lilash is ready to battle forrest for her first gym badge and is ready to go bulbasaur battles his geodude and wins but took a bit of damage so the onix knocks it out she switches to nidoran which holds its on. meanwhile someone comes to watch the match the girl who was oberserving earlier but before ash enquires her she is gone. nidoran is almost beaten when it evolves into nidorina and learns ice beam enough to win the match getting lilash a boulder badge her 1st making her happy. brock and forrest congratulate her for not giving up which ash says is an important skilll.. as they leave pewter an old friend of ash appears.
