the group head towards lavender town with their first stop being the rock tunnnel which is said to be completly dark so they are told to get some lights to help navigate and it takes a while to find someone selling them and are told to visit pokemon tech to fix a problem in exchange for a torch which they are able to as it turns out the teachers had been abusing pokemon.
