the group try and get through the rock tunnel and find a sad cubone which they understand pretty quickly that its sad because it lost its mum to team rocket in the pokemon tower according to a nearby trainer and decide to go there in lavender town and lilash starts to think she can understand pokemon somehow which confuses her.
