they arrive in celadon and register for the gym before lilash is told about a game corner and when there realise that team rocket are there and accidently find their head quarters where they are holding some powerful pokemon and when lillie accidently presses a button they are released creating a lot of problems and giovanni the team rocket boss tries to arrest them but lilashs power comes out to stop them. erika watching this says she is ready to battle lilash.
