3 loses to the tigers in round 3 a massive shock to the cats in round 12 and the blues in round 18 drew the semi with the dees before beating them and the igers for the flag.

the same 4 dominated but in a different order the pies cats dees and dons were the 4 with the roos going winless (one draw against the hawks) with the new sides the bottom 3. south finished 5th on percentage from the dons.

early loses to tigers and saints and blues had their season looking doubtful when they lost to the pies in round 6 and dees in round 7 were 2-5 and looking done but then won 10 out of 11 to just miss finals 1 goal loss to the pies in round 17 after 9 wins in a row broke their chances.

despite being long odds the dons stun the cats and just falling short of the dees who beat the pies in the other semi meaning the dees would play the pies in the grand with the dees winning their 2nd flag.

after an unlucky 25 they fell to the blues in round 2 pies in round 4 geelong in round 10 a week after a 141 point win over the hawks. and pies again in round 15 they dominated the finals for their 2nd flag from 3rd.

this was a five team battle with the lions missing out on the 4 despite north winning their first game over the cats in round 1 the new teams didn’t start well finishing bottom 3 with the hawks getting the wooden spoon the blues were worse of the old teams finishing 9th only above north on percentage the 4 were geelong (cats), collingwood essendon and an improved melbourne not in that order.

every year i will give you a round up of the hawks year while they didn’t look good early losing their first 4 supprisingly coming closest to beating the pies in round 3 level at 3/4 time and losing by 17 in round 5 they had their first win over the dogs their first win over an established side was in round 13 over the saints by 3 points one more win over the roos the other new team got the hawks last with 3 wins.

after a dream improvemnent the dons did one better finishing two games ahead of fitzroy at the top with south and geelong rounding out the 4 with the blues slumping to 7th and the pies missing out as well tigers even finishing second last above the dees.

early signs were all over the place stunning the blues in round 2 after losing to the dons in round 1 wins over pies and tigers had them looking threatening for once but loses to the dees (last team to do so) and the cats had worries after a 6 goal loss to the lions and the bye had their season in doubt than stunning wins over swans and dons had their season back alive beating the blues as well after a loss to the pies and beating the tigers they were in the 4 beating the dees in round 14 had them 3rd but fail to win again and finish 6th.

lions knock cats out but the swans stun the dons but the lions beat the swans but its the dons who get redemption to win their 5th flag over the lions.

started dominant winning 4 straight before losing to the lions their only loss before the roiund 9 bye. a shock loss to the saints getting 1 goal 12 embarrased them a loss to the lions again in round 14 had some worried before the grand final despite not losing a game till the semi to the swans but earned the grand final spot against the lions wining their 5th flag.

essendon equaled their own record for the biggest rise from last to 2nd (they did the same in 1908) finishing below the pies who had 12 wins dons 10 and a half ahaed of lions on percentage with the blues rounding out the 4 3 games ahead of regining premiers the tigers who were way off the pace the wooden spoon went to south 4 years after thier previous flag.

what a comeback from last to prelim finalists only drawing with the lions in the first 7 weeks winning the other 6 it was the pies who broke the run leading to a form slump losing to blues and seller dwellers swans and cats. and yet 4 wins in a row almost got them 1st losing to the pies in the last game decided 1st place they won the semi over the blues but lost to the lions in a prelim.

while finals never looked unlikely a flag was not likely most of the year in the first half of the year their non wins were against the other finals taking to ronud 11 to win against the blues to break that run their other loss was to the tigers in round 15 finishing 3rd but haivng a flawless finals campaign was enough to get them their 7th flag.

this was between carlton and richmond with the blues only losing one game but drawing twice in back to back rounds to the lions (they also had their one loss too them) and swans while the tigers looked strong for back to back wuth 12 wins 3 more than the other finalists pies and cats with essendon getting their 3rd wooden spoon out of no where with 3 wins and 2 draws.

a poor start to the season proved costly but they were the only team to beat the blues in the home and away season and not lose to them the draw with the blues was their first none loss in round 4 and had no wins before the round 6 bye and lost to the dees after the bye but a win over the pies in round 10 got them back on track to finish 5th with 6 wins and 2 draws.

with richmond and university joining few had the cats winning the wooden spoon especially beating the pies in round 1 (they only won one more game) the blues dominated and looked like the biggest threat for a 3 peat yet with a resurgent essendon their main opposition finishing 3 games below the blues but 4 games ahead of 3rd place saints and 4th place pies. swans just missed out with university (8 wins) and richmond (6 wins) not embarrasing in their first year.

in their first year they beat the dees to start took till round 5 for win 2 against the cats. 5 straight loses had them wooden spoon favourites despite a 1 game lead over the cats until beating university in round 11 they backed it up against fitzroy in a big upset shock wins over finalists pies and saints later on got them to 9th with 6 wins.

carlton and essendon easily got past the semis meanign the dons are only one of two teams ever to be grand finalists after being wooden spooners (the other collingwood in 1977 who failed to win the flag as well) but the blues got their 3 peat by 9 points.

tihs is out of respect for them finally having a finals berth and a good year would have considered lions and swans as well for obvious reasons. a 6-0 start had people thinking they would acctaully get to the grand only winning one of their next 8 against last place essendon in round 10 and only lead melbourne on percentage at the end of the rregular season but two more wins was enoough to secure 3rd passing th epies but lost to the blues in the semi.

after a bad loss to the saints to start they won 3 straight before losing to swans the other losees in round 9 to the cats and round 15 to the swans who they would beat in the grand having beat the saints in the semis to go back to back.

odds and evens end after this season so its similar finals system till 1931 (except 1924) and two new clubs richmond and university.

this was by far the worse season yet by a team not st kilda with the dees only winning 1 game the next worse was 4 wins (dees only win round 4 against south by 5 points). until a late slump the blues were the team to beat but the lions still looked dangerous for a 3 peat essendon and collingwood again rounded out the 4 with no chance of a change going into odds and evens.

the pies after losing to the lions in round 1 looked very dominant one more loss to the dons in round 14 before finals when everything went wrong losing to the blues in the semi gurranteed a grand final for fininshing 1st but lost to the lions.

started with 7 striaght wins and were on track to go back to back a round 8 loss to the pies wasn’t a concern beating the saints the next week but than a poor loss to geelong and a close loss to carlton a late draw with south didn’t cost them 2nd one more loss again to geelong in the odds and evens didn’t cost them 2nd and won against the dons, blues and pies to win the flag their 4th.

Counting continues in the election but Labor have already won with the libs infighting continuing with Angus Taylor being blamed by some for the loss.

had one of the biggest grand final preview wins to start 94 points over the blues 3 big wins started before losing to the pies got to 7-1 before losing to the saints in a biggerupest then the year before. other loses to pies in round 11 and cats in round 13. a critical 61 point loss to the dons in the final even game was their last loss 5 losses is rare for 1st place though in the home and away even since.

for the first time ever the saints don’t finish last and the blues are in the 4 the saints still have a finals chance going into odds and evens fighting the cats for 4th while the blues are 3rd and safe. the dons the most consistant team yet drop to 6th with south getting their first wooden spoon. pies and lions dominate again.

after 2 wins in 6 years they won 7 and a draw in a crazy boost and their first win (over the dees was in round 6). by beating south and cats had a record 3 wins in a row for them they archived it again in rounds 12-14 incldunig the biggest upset yet over the lions finishing 5th with a late win over the dees.

collingwood ended the blues fairytale whiile the lions smashed cats to play the grand which the pies went back to back by 2 points.

were dominant 2 of theri 3 loses where to fitzroy the other was the gf rematch in round 6 and were close to the top of the ladder most of the year a dominant effort.

despits losing to essendon and collingwood they were a storng tema most of the year and had a big lead blown in the finals.

after a poor loss to the pies and a early loss to fizroy and geelong had them quite back with a 1-3 start. 3 straight wins before losing to the pies one more loss a shock to melbourne in round 12 but still finished 3rd won all three odd games and two finals to get their 2nd flag.

Penrith are on the winners list again stunning Brisbane 32-8 while Canberra beat storm and bulldogs beat titans. Hawks celebrated their century smashing tigers while lions beat sun’s and swans stun giants. Chelsea beat premiers Liverpool 3-1 while man u lost to bornumoth

home and away summary

after a round 1 drought breaker by st kilda beating the dees for their first ever win (and only win of the season for them) in one of the games of the year fitzroy were again dominant with geelong and essendon looking like the main rivals 2 and 3 games back collingwood and south actually were equal with essendon but percenatage behind dees and blues took the other spot.

in a big suprise essendon won the odds over fitzroy making a final against an even bigger supprise melbourne who won the evens due to a big win over st kilda on percentage from collingwood and geelong.

interesting season geelong

won their first four before losing to south and fitzroy bouned back to 6-2 ended 9-5 with loses to collingwood, essendon and melbourne the evens were unlucky on percentage a 17 point loss to the dees being the costly loss.

finals summary

dees who were longer odds than south the year before stun dons who can’t kick straight and then beat lions to win their first flag out of nowhere only winning after finals 10 out of 19 games.

premership season melbourne

after a shock 1 point loss to the saints that no one had done before and a early loss to the blues they looked like mid table at best. a 1-5 start looked like they had no chance before a 4 game winning streak had their season on track but lost 3 of their last 4 to finish 6th and held on to the even lead despite a 6 point loss to the pies. a close win over dons and then beat the lions to win the flag.

home and away summary

this was fitzroys to lose dominating the season while melbourne were the last team to lose in round 6 a week after beating fitzroy but they slumped in the 2nd half of the year so fitzroy 11 wins geelong (who kept saints to 2 behinds in last home and away game) collingwood 10 wins essendon 9 wins melbourne 8 wins south 5 wins (but there not done) carlton 3 wins st kilda winless again.

odds and even summary

fitzroy easily won the odds booking a grand final against south (how) south won all three even games so even they were 5th after odds and evens but under the controversal system will be thier oponents despite geelong keeping st kilda to an even lower score than round 14 thats right 1 behind to start the game was all they scored the 161 point margin was the record for a while.

as there was only one final i might just right a summary of fitzroys one point win over south to go back to back despite trailing by 14 at 1/4 time nad 7 at 3/4 time and only kicking 3 goals (3.9 to 3.8).

most interesting south

a big win over carlton started them well before loisng to fitzroy and being held goalless by essendon (in the 2nd lowest scoring gaem ever 1.9 to 0.9) and collingwood before beating st kilda and geelong in a upset. but loses to meloburne and a goalless effort in a loss to carlton had them worried as well as fitzroy and essendon and collingwood ending any hope of top 4. breaking their drought against st kilda but losing to geelnog had them 6th 4 games adrift of 5th before beating melbourne and then in the evens had a critical win over geelong securing them an advantage beating essendon and st kilda was enoguh for a grand final spot that they lose to fitzroty.

premiers fitzroy

fitzroy were better than 1898 losing to melbourne in a top of the table clash in round 5 geelong and collinwood their only blemishes and won the flag over south in a thrilling grand final.

there were 14 rounds (each team verse twice) then the odd teams and even teams verse with the best of them playing off for the right to play the minor premier (in the case the minor premier won the odds it went striaght to a grand final) this lasted till 1900.

home and away summary

apart from a first up upset by carlton over south the blues and saints were filling space again this season although the blues drew with dees when they were sliding. melbourne were acctually 3-0 but only managed two more wins to finish 6th two games ahead of carlton. south finished 5th despite kicking only one goal twice in a game but still won half. geelong were 4th 9-5 but the main contnders were essendon 11-3 on top who were the most dangerous again but a last round loss to collingwood who were slow starters but won 6 straight to get 2nd and a much improved fitzroy levle with collingwood but behind them on percentage.

odds and evens summary

the only upset was fitzroy beating essendon to win the odds group all the evens games went to script which meant fitzroy would play collingwood to see who will play essendon for the flag.

most interesting team melbourne

i only chose melbourne to avoid picking collingwood twice in a row they were the other major consideration

first two rounds they smashed saints and blues and looked like they might go far after beating collingwood in round 3 then things fall aprt losing to fizroy and essendon might be expected but 1.7 against south they bounce back to upset geelong and beat the saints a draw with carlton was their last non-loss till the evens win over the saints scoring less then 20 three times finishing 6-10-1 in 6th.

finals summary

fitzroy the only team with no finals experience beat the pies in the playoff and then beat the dons to win their first flag with only one goal between them after half time.

premiers fitzroy

after a poor loss to essendon in the gf preview to start a win over the pies gave some confidence beating the saints was obvious but then doubling the unbeaten dees and a win over the cats and blues means they were getting the job done but not preitly and big loses to south and the dons again had them dropping a loss to the pies in round 9 was their last of the year coming from 6th to finish 3rd with a 5 game winning streak won all the odd group games but had no major test till the last odd game against essendon which they won setting them up for a finals run beating the pies and dons.

this will be a slightly different go over of afl history in a few parts of each year this is partly although we will get to it eventually the hawks 100 years in the comp is why i decided to make another footy history this time which will be more general in a few parts of each year they are

the starting clubs were carlton, collingwood, essendon. fitzroy, geelong, melbourne, south melbourne and st kilda.

home and away summary

the first year of the vfl (the precursor to the afl) was dominated by 5 clubs in fact only once did a bottom 3 side at the end of the year not lose to a top 5 side and that was a south/fitzroy draw in round 7 (the next closest was the rematch a 1 point win to south). this was a critical game as it cost south the last finals spot. the interesting thing is geelong who start 0-3 (and were last after round 2) suddenly went on a tear to top the ladder on 11 wins 3 loses ahead of essendon (who lead the 2nd half of the year) on percentage and one game ahead of the last founding team to lose a game melbourne who were quite inconsistent late in the year with 3 striagth loses in roudns 7 to 9 but beat the dons to cost the later first. collingwood were the other finalist despite looking gone with 3 games to go being a game and a half and percentage behind south only to get ahead at the end they won 9 games to souths 8 and a half. fitzroy got 4 and a half wins and were on top after round 2 but had only played carlton and st kilda at that stage. carltons two wins were both against winless st kilda.

finals summary

for some reason this and 1924 they had a round robbin finals system as opposed to any sort of knockout version. the flag was decided mostly at corio when geelong lost to essendon by a goal (no other finals have been played at geelong except in 2013 when geelong lost to freo). collignwood did beat melbourne but they were both no match for essendon and geelong because essendon didn’t lose in the round robin they won the first flag the last final between them and melbourne had only 1 goal kicked (and 16 behinds) between them the lowest agrogiate game ever with the dons 1 goal the difference.

most interesting season collingwood

i considered south and melbourne as well.

they started well with wins over st kilda essendon and geelong but a loss to south in round 4 ended that run beating fitzroy and carlton between a loss to melbourne had them looking good for finals at the half way mark after beating st kilda in round 8 they were 2nd than fall into a heap losing 3 straight to essendon, geelong and south leaving them to do the top they were expected to against carlton and fitzroy somehow beat melbourne and hope south or geelong drop 2 games they got lucky beating melbourne as well as south dropping 2 of the last 3 to sneak into 4th. a thrilling win over melbourne again gave them hope for the first flag but loses to essendon and geelong saw them finish 3rd,

premieres essendon

started well winning at geelong but a surpise loss to the pies in their first home game would have some worries than they won 5 straight ending the dees unbeaten run in round 7 to top the ladder at that stage in a game at south they won with a score of 1 goal 13. a round 8 loss to geelong didn’t cost them the lead and then another 5 game winning streak ended with a loss to melbourne costing them 1st but a first up finals win at geelong secured them momentum the win over the pies all but guranteed them the flag and then only needing 1.8 the lowest winning score ever to win the flag over the dees.

this is an odd story of easter jesus appears in fron of his deciples and gave bread and fish to the deciples showing he still cares for his deciples and the deciples prove their loyality to the risen lord it is quite confusing the setting and a lot of it but proves that jesus still cares even as he is risen.

labor are back in power with an increased majroity in parliament knocking out both max chandler maher and peter dutton out of their own seats (shame we couldn’t get rid of dai le but theres a still chance we may unseat greens leader adam bhandt). melbourne have beatwen winless west coast port were no match for bulldogs crows smash blues and cats stun pies. tigers warriors and nights won in the nrl. arsenal got stunned by borumoth i think.

St kilda have smashed freo. Roosters and sharks win in the nrl over dolphins and eels. Centreal coast title defence is over losing tonbrisbane 2-1. If you haven’t voted vote Labor in the Australian election don’t risk dutton.

Chelsea won their European conference league game 2-0 this morning. Essendon survive a North scare by 3 points. Vote Labor in the elevtion to avoid the craziness controlling parliament or worse a dutton government.

With the budget in trouble spending money on necluear will only make things worse don’t risk it vote Labor

Labor are still ahead in the polls but don’t get complacent as its not over yet. Virgin Atlantic have pulled out of Israel which is a good move to pull out of a war zone.

a dad wanted his daughter to see him hunt she was reluctant but her mum insisted on them bonding even though they didn’t get along not realising what would happen. on arrival at the reserve where hunting isn’t even legal they spoted a rhino the dad asked jessica the girl to run at the rhino and then lead him his way she initally refused until he threatened her. so she lied and went to it and saw the rhino was saugh but then saw her dad readying his gun she than without thinking run into the shot and luckily blocked it the bullet luckily didn’t hurt. the dad realising he didn’t have any more bullets went away jessica was ok except her hand was injured from the bulllet the rhino then got up looked at her and then licked clear the wound confusing jessica then she started feeling her body changing she run towards the water nearby as she got thirsty she now was a female rhino the other rhino a male thna spoke saying he got hurt protecting its family who were injured worse and wanted a companion who would care for him and be friends he says if she wants she can reutrn to being human when all the wouds are healed she agreed and would never see her dad again (he got arrested).
