The 10 teams depart eucador for chille the lead teams find a flight to santiago via quladaquil and lima from quito arriving 150am while the other teams only go via lima arriving 230am but the flight out of quadaquil is delayed putting rob/amber and oswald/danny behind early. At a mining companies headquarters a roadblock of searching for letters in a room charla/mirna and david/mary work together and they than have to fly to calama chille on the same flight. eric annoys rob by cutting in line but it makes no difference. the detour is either changing the bolts on a big machine or using the machine to dump stuff on a thing the later was easier but team guido misread the clue stopping them get the advantage. the two all girl teams get into a fight over a taxi on the way to the valley of the dead and moon seperate locations kevin/drew don’t find out that they can go faster and fall behind several teams make a wrong turn rob/amber continue to dominate while charla/mirna and david/marys alliance ends when the first of them passes the later. But kevin/drew are eliminated.
