ash is asleep when the pokemon that has appeared in ashs dreams says that everything is going well with the plan for him to protect the pokemon world. Meanwhile the rival team goes to the evolution spring (the right one) and think if they evolve they’d be stronger but when they enter they don’t evolve at all alkazam appears and says that certain pokemon won’t evolve anyway. They decide to challenge ash to a rematch they agree on the condition that it would be only for fun in the future the johto starters and ash win easily though and the rivals finally stop.
