lawence the third attempts to steal the legendry pokemon of the orange isalnds he starts with moltres and uses his equipment successfully. Ash misty and tracy are travelling in the orange islands when they encounter a bad storm (this is where the season 2 theme plays). the storm sends them off course towards the centreal of the islands where they arrive in the middle of a celebration of the legend festival this year the main role is played by a girl named melody who selects ash to get the things of fire ice and lightning ash goes to get the things even missing the meal with the help of the woman who took them to the island. Team rocket also are involved and help but when zapdos shows up on fire island it and ash and ash’s friends are taken by lawence the third who reveals his plan and the old legend which implies ash will be the hero. As lawence nears ice island ash and friends are able to take down lawences air ship. Ash meets the slowking (a new pokemon) the guardian who explains ash needs to get the last item while the legendries are fighting over head when lugia (the main legendry) turns up and tries to help ash get to the island but it doesn’t work. Melody though is able to revive lugia with the song of the festival. But lawence the third is able to attack again but this doesn’t help and is defeated. The pokemon are saved and ash gets to ride lugia over the islands with the other legendries. Ash’s mum proffessor ivy and oak are able to get to the island as part of investigating what happened ash’s mum is emotional. The movie is really good slightly better than the first in my opinion.
