for abbie the only thing she enjoyed was going to the ocean and swimmiing luckily living an area that was warm enough to swim year round she spent everry afternoon practicing her swimming as a way to relax as her mum worked most of the day and herdad was non-exsistant her only friend was a young seal who always swam with her. They had a section of the water just to themselves every day after school she would swim with the seal she knew to call for help if needed but it never happened that she needed to. It was a friday after school she went to go swimming when she noticed the seal was absent it was weird as it was thenormal time she didn’t think much about it until she suddenly got knocked down by a wave it was the first time she struggled to swim and than the seal saved her life but she was petrified not realising herbody was changing as well into that of a female seal. As it did her seal friend tried to distract her knowing if she touched land she would never get back in the water the changes finished and her fear went as she swam with her friend forever.
