4 teams leave zermatt switzerland for rio de jinero brazil by flying from zurich (Getting there by train) and than take a tram to a set of famous steps and search for a tile. keisha/jen and the globetrotters don’t want history to repeat on the penultimate leg they end up on the same train to zurich. booking flights is interesting at a travel agency originally the season 15 teams get a 730am arrival and decide not to tell the other teams who think the best flight is 540pm which is not true but when the globetrotters lie about it find out and get on the same flight evening the teams. teams run through rio airport to taxis with gary/mallory behind until they pass the globetrotters. the globetrotters as well miss the tram that all the other teams get on with the globetrotters not making it. the other teams insist on the tram leaving early or just without the globetrotters it works confusingly its not a big distance so teams think it is turning back but it doesn’t and they are now 30 minnutes behind. the clue is not hard to spot sending them to largo de san fransisco and search for the clue zev/justin are in the lead with gary/mallory just behind and keisha/jen. the next clue is a roadblock of a samba dancing challenge learning the dance and than lead a group through the group zev has to do it (as they have to be equal in roadblocks for the final leg) so mallory has to do it as well the dance is complicated for zev to learn and the noise doesn’t help. keisha/jen are dropped off in the wrong spot making them remeber the problems they had in their season with the language barrier. the globetrotters find the clue quickly. mallory is well in the lead doing the dance as zev is struggling the next clue sends them to a salon near cocana bana beach. keisha takes the roadblock for their team. the next task is having their body waxed which is quite painful and for 15 minutes gary/mallory have a good lead starting the task. zevs problems dancing lets keisha pass him. the globetrotters show up while zev is having trouble and big easy takes it. gary/mallory finish the waxing get the detour clue of either “on the rocks” of making a drink and mixing up several ingredients and make 100 capeinas (sorry can’t spell it) “on the beach” is selling bikinis and sell enough to earn 100 payos (about 60 us dollars). gary/mallory choose the drinks while the race of the season 15 teams to stay in it continues zev finally gets it before big easy but big easy fails the last move but gets it the next time meaning its close. the drink making challenge isn’t that hard if you follow the demonstration correctly. meanwhile keisha/jen do the waxing while zev/justins bad luck continues with them getting lost putting them behind the globetrotters. meanwhile gary/mallory have gotten a few drinks done while keisha/jen finish the waxing and choose the drinks. zev/justin turn up as the globetrotters finish waxing the globetrotters choose the drinks. jen jokes about going back to bar tending but than says its not her thing at this point gary/mallory have 17 and than 34 while keisha/jen have 5 and the globetrotters have done theirs wrong. zev/justin go for the bikini selling task at this point gary/mallory are half way through and keisha/jen are just over a quarter through. selling bikins is not easy and zev/justin can’t get anyone to model what there selling and it’s proving impossible as gary/mallory only have 6 to go and keisha/jen are over half way and than the globetrotters are half way. gary/mallory get the clue 1st sending them to the pitstop the muesum of comtemporary art in rio the globetrotters are still making mistakes but zev/justin still can’t sell bikinis forcing them to think about switching detours. gary/mallory finish the leg 1st (becoming the third parent/child team to make the final 3 as well as gary would be the oldest to win) the prize is a trip to the medetarian on a cruise. zev/justin turn up while the other 2 teams are finishing the detour (keisha/jen just finished it at the same time they turn up while the globetrotters have 76 done. keisha/jen are 2nd going into the final 3. the globetrotters dance while doing the detour which is slowing them down but they still beat zev/justin who are eliminated despite having one last drink before heading to the pit stop.

the final 3 leave rio with the first clue sends them to miami florida the first stop is marine station marina where there next clue is. they end up on the same flight keisha/jen want to win for their family. the flight is aa988 the globetrotters leave their bags at the airport to make up time. they are neck and neck to the taxis gary/mallory are last to a cab putting them behind with the other teams neck and neck. the next clue is a roadblock of using a forklift to transport a boat to a storage rack safely keisha and flight time take the roadblock for their teams. the task is not too difficult initally as they get instructions. while gary/mallory are lost finding the task and are quite behind. Learning the technique isn’t easy for the forklift. gary/mallory taxi tries to google directions as the lead teams finish the task with the next clue sending them to keylargo and the undersea lodge by taxi before gary/mallory start the task who are still asking for directions. gary/mallory finally show up at the first roadblock gary does it mallory is nervous about still having a chance of winning but they get the task done quickly giving them hope. the globetrotters tell their cab to get some gas and than comeback and wait the 2nd roadblock is swimming with mermaids to find a clue in a treasure chest big easy jokes about being finished with roadblocks for his life the task brings back bad memories for keisha/jen. gary finishes the forklift task while the other teams are doing the swimming. not all the boxes have clues gary/mallory know they have to make up about 25 minutes at this point. the globetrotters get the clue 1st sending them to a mile marker 29 jen gets the clue soon after. the globetrotters cab left them costing them critical time looking for a new cab. it is tricky to find big pine tree where the clue is keisha/jen get the lead at this point. mallory has to do the swimming task they know they are last at this point due to the number of swim suits. the next clue is walking accross the ocean (a shallow section) to horseshoe island and the tallest tree. the next clue sends them to maradon marina and a mobile home park for their next clue. keisha/jen still lead but not by much. mallory gets her clue but are a bit behind still. gary/mallory start to make up time the final task is at a trailer park setting up the ultiminate one according to a picture which can be tricky to be right as the wind eventually picks up and things blow all over the place and forces teams to keep things together while working gary/mallory do start on it giving them a chance. the first attempt is wrong from keisha/jen due to a small error the globe trotters also make a small error as the wind makes it hard to finish the task. the 2nd attempt is wrong due to missing a red thing from keisha/jen when they fix it they get their clue sending them to the 07 mile bridge and than they have to ride bikes to the finish line. the other teams are still struggling with the task. the globetrotters realise the table was wrong before they get the clue before gary/mallory. keisha/jen start the bike riding before gary/mallory finish the trailer home challenge. the globetrotters try and catch them on the bikes and 7 miles is a long distance but its not enough and the sisters keisha/jen take home the million dollars as the 2nd all girl team to win (in a row). gary/mallory finis the task before the other teams finish the race but are 3rd.
