8 teams depart turin italy for bavaria germany by train via austria and find a resturant and their next clue from the travelocity roaming gnome. the teams are pretty well spread out in departure times. teams end up catching up at train stations. the clue doesn’t open till 830am allowing the lead teams to catch up to each other. the next clue is a detour of “fairy tail” requires teams to follow a trail of gingerbread and than make a gingerbread house roof and decorate it “champion male” requires teams to style a beard for a man. the lead teams all do the beards (rachel/dave, art/jj and joey fitness/danny). its a little tricky but not to hard a task. art/jj are supprised how hard it looks. kerri/stacy are quite lost finding the resturant. booper/marks speed bump is a yodeling task a certain tune which they are excited about. vanessa/ralph choose the beard. art/jj are done 1st and the clue sends them to the inspiration for sleeping beautiies castle. nary/jamie take the beards, brendon/rachel and kerri/stacy take the gingerbread. bopper/mark aren’t too far behind at this point. rachel/dave are 2nd out of the detour. it is tricky finding the gingerbread trail but bopper/mark pass the other teams that chose that task. joey fitness/danny lose a lot of time on the beard but finish 3rd ahead of vanessa/ralph. the witch at the gingerbread house is scary. art/jj are well in the lead finding the castle but the tricky bit is there are two castles. vanessa/ralph and joey fitness/danny are a bit confused about the castles. nary/jamie finish the beards in 5th. art/jj get the clue at the castle in 1st and are sent to fusen to a ice hockey and curley rink. kerri/stacy are first to finish the gingerbread house. vanessa/ralph are arguing over speed and are not happy. bopper/mark are 7th to finish the detour only ahead of brendon/rachel who don’t take too much longer to finish the task. a couple of teams end up in a tour that is wasting time. the roadblock is using the gnome to slide it accross the ice and land in a bulls eye to recieve the clue. teams have trouble figuring out the castles still. art/jj finish the ice task in 1st sending them to a farm for the pitstop with joey fitness/danny not far behind the leaders. the hike to the castle is hard. art/jj win the leg and win a trip to thailand ralph takes the roadblock for his team. brendon and nary take the roadblock as well as rachel (of rachel/dave). rachel/dave and brendon/rachel finish next kerri/stacy turn up at the roadblock ahead of bopper/mark mark takes the roadblock and passes the girl teams leading to a showdown between the all-girl teams kerri vs nary with kerri finishing ahead of nary but the navigation to the pitstop makes the difference as kerri/stacy get a little lost. kerri/stacy are eliminated.
