the 4 teams depart palma spain first fly to barcelona spain and than a train to loire valley france. josh/brent know they are underdogs considering they have not finished in the top 2 yet. they end up on the same flight to barcelona and the same train. the majority of the teams want josh/brent out at this point. the next clue sends them with 8 crates deliver them using a ford escape and drive to the chateaue de villandry and a stone dog. trey/lexi are in the lead while josh/brent try and make natlie/nadiya nervous. the teams try and lose josh/brent. the maze is confusing and josh speaking french has the other teams nervous the next clue sends them to da vincis resting place another cheatu as well as natlie/nadiyas speed bump of helping a woman dress a costume losing them time. but the other teams are quite lost as josh/brent try and break the alliance and the other teams follow them (except natalie/naidya). natalie/nadiya aren’t too far behind on the speed bump while josh/brent are lost. the next clue is at a gorgeous castle. the next clue is a detour of “chow” involves teams to make food for hunting hounds a certain way and feed them to the dogs, “plow” requires teams to use a horse and plow to plow a field. jaymes/james choose plow but only 2 teams can do it at the same time. josh/brent choose chow as does trey/lexi at this point. josh/brent are behind the other lead teams natalie/nadiya choose chow but are still last. trey/lexi switch to plow and have a lead at this point. natalie/nadiya are 2nd to the detour amazingly supprising jaymes/james who are 3rd and josh/brent who are last. josh/brent do the food quicker than natalie/nadiya. trey/lexi finish the detour in 1st sending them to a cave. jaymes/james are 2nd to finish the detour. natalie/nadiya are still behind in last as josh/brent finish the detour. trey/lexi are 1st to the roadblock which involves searching a subterrain farm for mushrooms finding 3 certain types. lexi has to do it so they go into the final leg even in roadblocks. jaymes is doing the roadblock as josh/brent are lost again. jaymes has one wrong and lexi isn’t sure she did it right but did sending them to the pitstop the castle of the lady the final elimination point. jaymes finishes 2nd at the task. trey/lexi go to the wrong castle. natalie/nadiya get lost finding the clue so josh/brent are 3rd brent does it natalie does the task. in a close race jaymes/james win the leg and the car. it is a showdown between brent and natalie at the roadblok but brent can’t find the exit. natalie/nadiya are 3rd out of the roadblock as josh hopes the girls go the wrong way to make up 10 minutes but make it up sending the girls home.

the first clue in the final leg sends them to coney island new york city the clue is at the boardwalk. they end up on the same flight to new york which has teams not too worried about josh/brent being from new york. the clue is not easy to spot at the boardwalk. jaymes/james think its something to do with a ride trey/lexi thinks to do with the beach which jaymes/james switch to looking their. josh/brent are lost as well. they finally figure it out the brooklyn navy yard with trey/lexi in the lead and jaymes/james in last. the first roadblcok of the final leg is doing a houdini act which is confusing as they must escape and than bungee jump. trey takes the roadblock. brent takes the roadblock. trey/lexi take the lead the next clue sends them to a pizzeria lombardies. jaymes does the roadblock. the next task is delivering 10 pizzas around little italy. trey/lexi are still 1st with josh/brent on their heals and jaymes/james having taxi problems. trey/lexi get the clue sending them to the un with jaymes/james only starting to deliver. josh/brent lose time on the delivery but are still 2nd. the last roadblock is remebering how to say hello and goodbye in eaach country they visited. lexi has to do it and it is quite confusing and the notes they took aren’t helpful lexi admits it will be time consuming. josh starts on it and it is a showdown. james has to do the final roadblock and the strategy is doing the ones they know first. lexi is getting frustrated and is calmed down. josh is doing well taking the lead at this point. it is quite hard for a final task with many mistakes but josh only has one to go but james isn’t far behind now. josh/brent finish the task 1st sending them to gotham hall the finish line james finishes ahead of lexi (who is still emotional and feeling out of it) as its now dark. in the end josh/brent become the least likely winners in the shows history with jaymes/james 2nd trey/lexi 3rd,
