on redemption island david arrives to a emtoional matt who is feeling out of it and prays for strength matt also says he doesnt’t know whats going on. back at camp steve is happy to still be in the game despite feeling out of it and are worried they can’t overcome the odds. and is trying to figure out phillip while the tribe are trying to hang onto him. phillip is still delusional with his thinking of meditation. the tribes food situation isn’t being shared between the tribes but it annoys phillip as omtepe due to more members has less food and decides to steal from zapatera. Phillip continues to annoy everyone with his views. the whole tribe gets to see the duel between mike, matt and david. the duel is stacking wooden tiles first two to reach 8 feet stay in the game the one who doesn’t is on the jury. early on mike starts well with david in last at this point. mike wins the duel despite late difficuilites as matt and david close in. matt beats david to send david to the jury he is disappointed to be out of the game. rob says the goal is to beat matt. matt says he still has hope and wants revenge on rob. rob and grant start singing a song called rice wars which provokes phillip combined with maggots in the rice to get them into the thing but dumps it first. desptte andrea being a diplomat its phillip who makes the situation worse and leads to a heated argument with steve which doesn’t do anything for anyone. the whole situation is out of control and even a little racist but phillip is using negative sterotypes about it in a bad way this only gets worse and worse and i don’t believe he has never been to jail. steve gets people to consider voting phillip. rob is getting worried it will start to get his tribe involved and it makes him uncomfortable. the immunity challenge is building a puzzle wheel and than solve two puzzles to win immunity while avoiding being dizzy. rob, julie, ralph have it phillips wrong andrea moves on as is steve and grant. steve starts well so does andrea and ralph and grant and rob (everyones in it but julie). rob narrowly beats steve to win immunity. there is hope from zapaterra that phillip will go with them thinking they’ll vote for steve. julie decides to hide phillips pants. ashley says everyone is over phillip. steve hopes phillip will apologise but it won’t happen. rob is greatful to have the power he has. at tribal phillip reveals someone stole his clothes and accusses steve (which is wrong). andrea says its not good. steve reveals the racism argument with julie as well contributing to the conversation saying phillip brought up a lot of bad words. we find out some gridiron history about steve being on a mostly black team and he has no racism in his heart. natalie feels for both sides. julie admits to taking the shorts but gets a bigger supprise when she is voted out 6-3 over phillip on tribal lines.
