after tribal edna is upset to get more votes against her at this early stage but is happy that brandon is adding to his target by his outbursts. the redemption duel sees ozzy and cocheran for savaii and albert and sophie for upolu the challenge is assembling a bridge and than solve a puzzle. albert tries to cheer mikayla on no one is helping christine. christine leads though getting the bridge complete. the puzzle is the redemption island arena symbol mikayla has a wrong guess and christine wins the duel. ozzy is concerned about what christine will do if she wins her way back in so he considers a risky move of sending himself to redemption and tells his plan to cocheran including the part of giving his idol to someone else. coach says his tribe is feeling down in the dumps so he decides to show his tribe the idol after brandon shares the clue he goes to find it and also finds treemail indicating the challenge and they have to be painted in colors in pairs. the challenge is for immunity and a movie night (jack and jill which was not a successful movie). one pair will be callers to lead blindfolded tribe members to get puzzle pieces and than get masks into matching pairs wins the challenge. coach and rick are the callers for upolu while jim and cocheran are for savaii. cocheran is having trouble with the knots costing his tribe time. the tribes are again neck and neck in the challenge. albert loses time on a bag as ozzy and whitney catch up and take the lead despite cocherans problems but than ozzy and whitney slow down. upolu have a lead on the puzzle as coach prays whitney tries to catch up for savaii but it doesn’t work upolu win the challenge. ozzy is very angry at the loss. upolu enjoy the reward but motsly the food than some of the movie. the tribe was ready to vote cocheran and says he can earn redemption. cocheran doesn’t want to go to redemption. ozzy though decides to go with his plan to send himself to redemption and come up with the plan. keith is still worried about another team challenge if it happens so is jim. at tribal cocheran is blamed for the loss he explains he paniced during the challenge. ozzy comes out telling everyone he will go to redemption. in the end they grant ozzy his request 5-1 over cocheran.
