10 teams depart panama for sao paulo brazil on one of 6 flights. vanck/ashton and matt/redmond get the best flight and agree to toss a coin for the first helicopter flight in saopaulo. seth/olive, brooke/scott, semhir/sara are on the 2nd. liz/michael are on the third flight. london/logan are on the 4th. tara/joey and becca/floyd are on the 5th and jesse/franchesca are on the last. matt/redmond get the first helicopter and sign up annoying vanck/ashton. praca de se is the next stop. the next clue is a detour of “keep the beat” learn a samba routine on instruments and preform a routine. “move your feet” set up a work station. (the split on detour is even). matt/redmond do the gym set up task. while semhir/sara are now in 2nd doing the beat detour. matt/redmond hold their lead going to a marked bike route. as more teams finish the detour jesse/franchesca are just getting there while sehmir is hurt. matt/redmond are lost losing the lead by a bad cab driver. the next task is a roadblock of window cleaning after repeling. liz, ashton, redmond, seth, becca, scott (who is scared of heights), tara, logan, semhir and franchesca will do the roadblock. seth misses a spot on the top so has to back up.liz gets it first just ahead of ashton. the pitstop is an urban rainforest in sao paulo. trianon park is the name. liz/michael win the leg (after being last in the previous leg) and win a trip to barbados. semhir is hurt pretty badly during the roadblock and needs to see an ambalanace due to the clothes being uncomfortable. jesse/franchescas mising the clue for a few minutes proves the difference and are eliminated.
