At a nearby landfill, teams encountered a Roadblock. Who is feeling instrumental? The chosen team member had to search through a pile of trash in a nearby landfill to find a specific collection of items. Then, following a given example, teams had to use these recycled materials to build a fully functional cello. If their cello passed judgement, teams could give it to a member of the Landfill Harmonic, a group of students at the nearby school who make and play instruments made from recycled landfill materials. michelle/victoria are quite lost as are kathlenn/hayley. the next stop is mercado 4 where the yield is but no one uses it. the next task is makin the national drink of paraguay. the detour is a switback to season 20.
Stack Your Melons: At the plaza, teams had to recreate the Stack Up Detour featured in leg 3 of The Amazing Race 20. They would have to retrieve watermelons from a loading truck and would have to properly stack them into a 10×10 pyramid. They had to perform a traditional Paraguayan bottle dance. They would receive a collection of bottles and had to balance one on their heads while they performed a series of moves, including laying on their stomach. If the bottle fell off and broke, they had to start again with a new one. although the 2nd one is from a roadblock not a detour originally will/james are confident having practiced the dancing task this gives them a bigadvantage and the leg and 5000 dollars each. michelle/victoria jump to 2nd and kathleen/haley are spared by a non-leim must complete a speedbump.
