braid – is for xbla and is a indi puzzle game with platform bits and is quite crafted. they talk about the time changing mechanic it is quite good mechanics. the only critiercism from bajo is how short it is. the story doesn’t make sense according to junglist. bajo 9.5/10 junglist 10/10 (first perfect score of the season).
office wars update – only a weak at the time was left to contribute.
after the game – a new animated miniseries discovers what sonic, mario and pacman have done after their successes have finished and the stories are not good.
world cyber games – sees the best video game players battle it out to go to germany to compete. they explain how much they practice and how there skills improve. even the mums are imprssed (they interview one). games include warcraft 3 and halo 3.
peter moore interview – boss of electronic arts and former boss of xbox. he talks about how game developement has changed. they talk about the future of sport games. and how hard it is to develop for pc. and how hard it was to get xbox into the japan market. as well as him time at sega. his favourite game is probably top gun.
backwards compatable – looks at the history of olympic game video games which started with microsoft making decathalon and the start of button mashing. the next game only cost 20 cents are arcades. summer games and winter games where slightly better but not perfect. olympic gold was the first offically licensed game. izzy’s quest for the olympic rings which is considered the worse mascot at the time. sydney 2000 wasn’t good either as a video game. sonic and mario at the olympic games was a bit different type of game play but the characters made it better.
bejing 2008 – xbox 360 version (also on pc and ps3) is considered so bad that they compare it to a funeral for entertaiment. the games considered just button mashing and bajo says its awkard. there arms hurt after 5 minutes and they didn’t want to play that long. it feels like one long quick time event and the controls are confusing. they even decide to have an fake olympic event using the game box which is just stupid. junglist 2/10 bajo 2/10.
