a 747 departs manila for tokyo via cebu on the flight terroist ramsay yousef on the first leg under seat 26k on the boeing 747 he leaves the plane in cebu after getting it through security. two hours later the plane leaves for tokyo with a new crew and passengers but the plane is delayed leaving cebu but still takes off. two hours in the flight half way all seems normal over southern japan on autopilot when the bomb goes off badly injuring and eventually killing one passenger and damaging the planes controls the plane is still flyable but damaged and request to divert the flight to okinawas naha airport several other passengers are injured and they will need medical treatment. the captain tells the flight enginneer to check the damage. the main worry is the sterring system being damaaged so turning towards the airport is difficult so they use the engines to get under control it works they also dump fuel which worries some passengers. the landing is smooth and is safe so only 1 death. the investigation figures out that yousef is responsable for te attack after a long man hunt finally arrest him for life in prison. it also leads to more security for planes.
