a boeing 747 is enroute from seoul to guam when they encounter severe turballance but rides it out the weather isn’t good in guam either but the crew has an experienced captain who was changed from a uae flight to the guam flight due to a schedule change. the flight attendnats move some of the duty free alcohol that was damaged due to the turballance btu the flight is back to being smooth. the approach starts normal despite not having a glide slope in operation that night so they will have to do a step down approach. the storm they are encuntering is makin the approach more difficult and finding the runway a bit harder as they have to move around the clouds. suddenly the glide slope comes to life all of a sudden which confuses the crew during the approach and the weather is worse than it was but the crew think they’ll see the runway soon but they start hearing the ground proximety warning system and the crew eventually do a goaround but its too late they hit a hill (nimitz hill) only 26 people survive out of about 300 the govenor helps the rescue operation but the fire kills most people including the pilots. the cause of the crash is determined to be pilot error not helped by the fact that the junior pilots wouldn’t speak up to the captain in the approach.
