ash and friends are on the outskirts of viridian city and find horsea hasn’t had enough excerise lately due to not having a big place to swim so they decide to head to the cerulean gym to get it some exercise and call mistys sisters to let them. when they get there they see a poster for an underwater ballet and the star is returning to cerulean city and we find out quickly that misty is the star of the show which annoys misty when she figures it out and her sisters convince her to by guilting her. they reherse the play explaining that the pokemon seal is involved and that there will be villans. team rocket find out about the play and decide to steal the water pokemon and the show. the show is sold out and as the story begins without incident until team rocket tie up some of mistys sisters and try and take the pokemon but misty fights back with the pokemon and seel evolves into dewgong helping misty beat team rocket with ash and brock helping as well. misty decides to leave horsea and starmie with her sisters and says goodbye to them to continue with ash and brock on her journey.
