The worst was confirmed by scans – Alvey has done his ACL and will miss the rest of the season.
Matthew Robbins suffered a heavy knock to the back of the head and neck. He was concussed and at quarter time he also complained of numbness and pins and needles in his left arm. As a precaution, Matthew was placed in a neck brace and taken to hospital for scans which cleared him of any serious damage. There is some deep bruising to the back of the neck which doctors have said will need to be monitored during the week before deciding if he is available to play against the Brisbane Lions next week. He remained hospitalized overnight for observation and was released the next day
