ash and friends arrive in ezteak city and find a firebreather who sells item finders items he does sell it to team rocket. ash and friends find a haunted building and fake flames that are acctually ghost types as noctowl reveals. they meet the gym leader morty who reveals it used to be the gym and explains the history of the city and the history of ho-oh which ash saw ages ago. but togepi and pikachu are stolen by team rocket but morty uses his gengar to get them back.
