i have changed how i’m doing the rest of the seasons player rankings to do one season at a time but talk about each player i will still have my best and worse of each season though. the others who would be honorable mentions will have that listed next to their name and there will be players who don’t fit into either category in an obvious way and there will be players who are non-factors not enough evidence to go on.
opinions
semhar – this is an interesting one which she was annoying and at the tribe a wise boot but more of an unlikeable non-factor but as the sesaon went on they would have been better keeping her.
papa bear – similar in terms of non-factor but is quite not someone i liked watching the season his personal story outside of the game is good its his gameplay that didn’t help anything to me but agiain someone who had no impact on the story. unlikeable non-factor
stacy – first likeable player this season who would have done better on a tribe without coach sort of like candace from tocantins in terms of how she treated coach was her downfall but the fact is she was right in terms of the reasons to target and did well in the only challenge of note. honorable mention like
eleyse – the first player they had no at all reason to target before cocheran but her game was sort of unnoteworthy at all but have nothing negative. positive non-factor.
mikalya – a player who was picked on far too much over nothing while her boot was only earned in my opinion due to her not doing the challenge properally she was very strong and would have been long term in most of upolus interests to keep in that boot what makes her a honorable mention like is she did well despite brandons bullying. honorabel mention like.
christine – this was my runner-up for the most liked player and of the new players my favourite of the season only mistake that any one other than coach could use was looking for the idol which everyone does these days her impressive run on redemption and her dealings with coach are strong positives.
keith – before someone corrects me that he outlasted jim in the first redemption duel after the merge because he still lost that duel i am listing him before jim. this was a mostly positive and gets a lot of sympathy for his boot in this show as well as how he lost the amazing race. he had a few moments i didn’t like the main one was throwing votes at dawn to save cocheran and their own face and slightly after that. honorable mention like.
jim – of those who got betrayed by cocheran he i disliked more than the others (although dawn gave him a run for his money at stages) his bad moves to save cocheran (which weren’t rescripiated) hurt him in my view and took a bit personally even though it was true what he said. he would have evened things out if he kept his word to give immunity to ozzy even though that would have sent him to redemption. honorable mention bad.
dawn – speaking of dawn i have grown to dislike her more after rewatching the season. while she has good moments in terms of not flipping on savaii right away at the merge and winning two challenges (one tribal for savaii and than winning the first one after the merge) are negated a bit by not stopping cocheran flipping or telling savaii and also trying to openly join the upolu alliance when it would be meaningless. id say 50/50 this time.
whitney – in the first 4 eps i had her as a non-factor to the season had only moment of note in any ways and that isn’t a judgable one episode 5 while she made the same mistake as keith it was his idea and didn’t really have any opinion straight after. episode 8 when she accepted the idol from ozzy but they wasted it doesn’t hurt her. her attack on cocheran and later winning immunity in episode 9 is the only things at all i can note but i have sympathy again for the way she lost this and amazing race (she and keith went on the amazing race together as a team and are now married) very slightly positive.
cocheran – this was always my pick for a long time for the worse player this season for me weak in challegnes annoying flipping at the merge hurting his game long term a few lies interestingly it is a close battle he is the worse new player this season only just over the next two on the list but he just loses to coach for the worse overall. honorable mention bad.
edna – while i have never been a big fan of her at all and she was the weakest on upolu also her comments when voting for mikayla were harsh what kept her out of the bottom 3 was only the brandon bullying in her boot episode as cocheran and brandon return she is the worse one time player this season. honorable mention bad.
brandon – i have almost nothing good to say about him either this time any symapthy was how his family treated him after if true the giving up immunity isn’t considered a bad thing overall on his record but thats all he did i didn’t consider bad. making people upset with open comments about where people stand is a big negative. honorable mention bad.
rick – a real non-factor despite making the last 5 he did lose points for a few comments about albert but loaylity in votes but again i have little to nothing to say. non-factor
ozzy – joins ethan and james and jerri as the fourth player to be my favourite in a season twice there will be another woman get their honor eventually though. he had a few issues similar to micronesia but his impressive run and a bit of loyality clearly gives him an edge once the merge hits no one comes close in positive moments. most liked
albert – is in the bottom 5 quite simply really on the negative side but kept out of conisderation for the worse just with one of his votes. honorable mention bad.
coach – very close to the first three time worse (heroes vs villians narrowly avoiding it to jt) his use of religion arroagence and keeping people i can’t stand around he took the spot from cocheran for this season. worse player.
sophie – the winner is the hardest to place with a lot of moments. back and forth a strong final 2 rounds after the final 5 had her a gurranteed negative in general of thhe upolu majority the most liked but about 50/50.
