chuck agrees to battle maddy first but promises to battle zuli eventually maddy finds a way to win the battle with her new pidgeot using flying type moves. zuli battles next with her pidgeot beating piimape and chikoirta beating poliwrath to prove her skills and giving them their next badge they are told to head for the whirl islands for a water type tornoument.
