Yesterday as I mentioned in a previous post I flew to Singapore on Qantas here is my review.
Check in was quick as we did most of it online no issue at bag drop qantas staff were friendly.
Immigration at Melbourne airport was smooth security was ok the airport has a very long duty free corridor that is a bit too long at least you can get headphones at a decent price. I will also note the terminal can be confusing. Our flight was slightly delayed due to engineering requirements (what ever that means). We boarded and took my seat 3k (in bussiness class) windows single seat on the a330-200 the delay was slightly extended due to the runway configuration and winds. The crew were very friendly the flight attendants check3e on th e passengers a lot and helped with things. The main meal which was in 4 parts. The beef and chicken was great and so was the choclate. The wifi worked as expected mostly (not once you leave austtalia which is expected) the power points mostly worked but stopped a few times randomly. The ife was very disappointing not many options I like and ended up watching the original lion king which I don’t recommend much. The noodles for the 2nd meal wasn’t good with spicy beef. My other complaint is only one toilet for the whole business cabin which even for domestic flights isn’t acceptable and you have to share with the pilots (talked to one of the pilots Briefly he was very frienely). Overall a Good flight 8/10. More reviews from the Singapore trip to come.
