Today’s news 25 December 2023 Christmas day

Just under a week left in the year merry Christmas. Chelsea lost 2-1 to wolves this morning. Pro palastinean protestors crashed the carols in Melbourne. Bad weather has hit some parts of Victoria leading to power outages in Shepparton for instance. Qantas has been critiercised for not playing traditional Christmas carols in their lounges fair enough mostly as quite a lot of Christmas songs aren’t traditional or to do with the main meaning of christmas like last Christmas for instance and there are quite a few out there about Santa Claus again not the meaning of christmas not that I want to agree with Bob katter but you do need to have some religious carols and traditional ones at christmas (although avoid angels we have heard on high as that is more annoying than good). Anyway have a merry Christmas and a great time with family if your religious get to a church service on the holiest day of the year (Easter is inconsistent while christmas is always the same day). For the record my favourite christmas carol is away In a manger with silent night a close 2nd.
